As a teenage idol and role model for America, Stevens’ starred n several feature films that showcased her talents in both comedy and drama. Stevens’ musical side also surfaced in the 60’s. This lead to the formation of a young vocal group called The Foremost, featuring three male backup singers who went on to become The Lettermen. Stevens’ went on to perform with The Three Debs, and eventually went on to a solo career producing such hits as Sixteen Reasons and Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb, as well as a host of other singles and albums.
