Maj. Diggs Brown, USANG (Green Beret) (R-CO-4) http://www.diggsbrown.com  of Fort Collins, Colorado is running against Congresswoman Betsy Markey (D-Co-4). Major Brown is a fiscally conservative candidate who will work to rein in the out of control spending by the Pelosi Congress; he forwarded the below listed press release reports that the Americans for Prosperity Applauds U.S. House Candidate Diggs Brown.  Major Brown is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and is the founder and president of Diggs Brown & Associates, a financial advising firm located in Fort Collins.  Please review the below listed message from Maj Brown. 

In 1979 Pvt. Diggs Brown joined the US Army and spent 10 years on a Special Forces A-Team; he received a direct commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1989 and rose to the rank of Major in the Colorado National Guard.  Major Brown served a combat tour during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from 2002 to 2003 where he engaged the Taliban; he received the Combat Infantry Badge and the Joint Services Commendation Medal.  Maj. Brown deployed to Special Operations Command Africa from 2008 to 2009; he has been awarded 20 additional medals and service ribbons for his military service to date.  Maj. Brown is the published author of “Your Neighbor Went to War, Reality and the War on Terror” (Clifton House, 2005),  

Maj. Brown is on the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army of Fort Collins, and served on the Fort Collins City Council from 2005 to 2008.
