MISSION STATEMENT

The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC is dedicated to supporting the election of fiscally conservative Combat Veterans to Congress.  We seek Combat Veterans running for Congress who believe in limited government, will rein in the out of control spending of Congress, are committed to preserving and defending the U.S. Constitution, and will support the independence and freedom of the individual as outlined in the Bill of Rights.  We support Combat Veterans For Congress who are dedicated to promoting The Free Enterprise System creating the greatest economic engine in the history of mankind, provide for a strong national defense, and will endorse the teaching of U.S. history and the Founding Fathers' core values in educational institutions.

ABOUT COMBAT VETERANS FOR CONGRESS PAC

In August 2009, the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC was formed.  The members of the Board of Directors, their backgrounds, and their photos are listed on the Leadership Page of this Web site.  Over a 16 month period we communicated with over 200 Combat Veterans in 50 states, reviewed their backgrounds, verified that they were in fact Combat Veterans, endorsed 45 Combat Veterans For Congress in 24 states (two of those Combat Veterans For Congress were Disabled American Veterans).  The Pac supported their candidacy in the Primary races; 27 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress in 19 states won their primary races.  In the 2010 mid-term election, we contributed greatly to elect 12 of the 27 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress who won their primary contests (the 2 US Senators and 10 US Congressmen were from 10 states, and are listed below).  The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC received many important endorsements nationally (those endorsers are listed on the PAC Endorsement Page of our Web site), developed national alliances with many state organizations, were supported by radio show hosts, and received support from members of the Hollywood film industry who are also listed on the PAC Endorsement Page. Going forward to the 2012 National Election, the most important election in the history of the Republic, the PAC will endorse a new slate of Combat Veterans For Congress and will aggressively support the re-election of the 10 Combat Veterans For Congress who were elected in the 2010 mid-term election.

We held two major events in Malibu in February 2010 and in San Diego in October 2010 to present the endorsed candidates to the press, did multiple E-mail blasts nationally to promote the Combat Veterans For Congress in their respective Congressional Districts, and many of the 10,000 supporters listed in our Web data base informed us that they donated directly to individual campaigns.  Our next major event is tentatively scheduled for Fort Walton Beach, Florida on March 17, 2012.

In the 2010 mid-term election, we endorsed Independents, Conservatives, and Republicans as Combat Veterans For Congress; no Democrat would agree to endorse our Mission Statement.  We are a stand-alone organization and would endorse any qualified Combat Veteran For Congress who supports our Mission Statement in writing, has strong popular support in their district to win their primary race, and has a robust organization to lead their campaign.  There are 26 million Veterans in the nation; this year we will reach out to Veterans in Congressional Districts where endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress are running to support the election of the endorsed candidate.  We are continuing our campaign to recruit a new slate of Combat Veterans For Congress, review their backgrounds, endorse the new slate, and campaign for their election in 2012.
